Aronson Webinars – Gov Prop/Mat Mgmt Systems and GSA Schedule Compliance
Please join Aronson for two upcoming, free government contracting webinars this month:
September 19, 2012 – Are your Government Property and Material Management Systems Making the Grade? Failure to maintain acceptable government property and material management systems could spell trouble for government contractors, especially if they contract with DoD where the financial impact of an inadequate system can be severe. The new Business Systems Rule, finalized in February 2012, authorizes the Contracting Officer to withhold up to 5% of the contractor’s payments in the event a required business system is deemed to be unacceptable.
Join Tom Marcinko and Nicole Mitchell with Aronson’s Government Contract Services Group, who will discuss these requirements, including:
- Definition of Government Property / Material Management Systems
- When Government Property/Material Management Systems Are Required
- Characteristics of Adequate Government Property/Material Management Systems
- Benefits of an Adequate Government Property/Material Management System
September 20, 2012 - GSA Schedule Compliance Pitfalls: Contractors cannot afford to be ignorant of GSA Schedule contract compliance requirements, especially in today’s audit-ridden environment. For companies that are unprepared, what might seem like an innocent mistake can result in financial settlements, delays in contract renewals, and even cancellation of contracts. Don’t let yourself become a cautionary tale! With some fine tuning of your compliance measures, you can help protect your company from these emerging risks. Aronson’s GSA experts will cover topics including:
