Timothy Cummins

Timothy (Tim) Cummins leads Aronson’s Construction Industry Services Group. Tim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional. Tim’s construction clients include general contractors and subcontractors, highway contractors and developers. He joined Aronson in 1982 and has spent over 20 year providing services to businesses in the construction industry.

Tim specializes in construction accounting and taxation, and business consulting services.  As an expert in the field, Tim has been invited to present on accounting, tax, and business management issues to local and national construction trade associations, including the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, Associated General Contractors of America, Associated Subcontractors of America, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Construction Financial Management Association. Tim has also authored numerous articles for national construction industry publications on issues affecting the industry and is the author of the Treasury Management and Management Reporting chapters of the Construction Controller’s Manual, published by Warren Gorham & Lamont.

Tim is an active member of Associated General Contractors of America, the Construction Financial Management Association, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Metropolitan Washington, as well as the Education Committee of the D.C. Metropolitan Subcontractors Association.
